DC the best driver other than Stirling not to be Champ??? No chance! Surely the greatest non-champ ( Moss included ) just HAS to be Gilles Villeneuve. In my opinion the Canadian genius was greater than most of those who did win the title.

David never won a championship,I think following orders was the cause of that and I think McClaren owe him a debt of gratitude for towing the line.He proved he cold win races and perhaps that’s why McClaren took him on before some-one else did and upset their blue eyed boy’s (Mika’s) chances.
One way in which he was always way out in front was with the girls,who knows may be that’s the way he wanted it.

He was an alright driver, who blew his chances on greatness. For the last number of years he was driving in the support teams, he should have retired a long time ago, This is not to say I do not like him, I do, although he does do some whining, Sad to see his last race go so badly ( not his fault I know). Apart from the wee man, lewis, is there any other great British F1 drivers? I mean Jensen is just a waste of money and time, why he is in F1 ?

Lol if you watched any of Davids races recently I think you would agree that he only got braver with age!Some crazy moves this season!

It was sad to see him go like that.One of the sturdiest drivers in Formula One,McLaren and Hakkinen were both only that successful due to Coulthards unerring responsibility and reliability.Always the team player,if either Alonso or Hamilton played the Coulthard role last season,McLaren would’ve won the title without doubt.If Raikkonen played the Coulthard role this season,Massa would be champion…And I’m pretty sure most McLaren fans hold David in very high regard.
