Statistically, a driver changing his helmet design will have zero effect on his performance in the race – and, of course, it’s impossible to know if had he raced in a helmet in his normal design whether it would have made any difference.

It is a good theory but second session proved better.

Maybe they where crap because of the crowds or else it could be that the new helmets have been made out of cursed Kevlar or whatever they are made out of
