Support for Massa

Posted by Jamie Hibbard at 10:55 am on Friday July 31, 2009 21 Comments

Last weekend, Sky collected together messages of support for Ferrari’s Felipe Massa from all the other drivers on the grid. They’re an impressively multilingual lot:

Autosport is reporting that Massa has said he hopes to be back racing as soon as possible, and would like to be on the grid for Valencia in a few weeks. With regards to Michael Schumacher’s return he said, ‘Let’s see if I let him drive the car, because I won’t give up.’

So maybe Big Schu’s comeback isn’t so imminent after all?

Oh and I like how Jenson take the ”Dynamic” interview technique!

Jenson: ‘Look how I can walk and talk, I AM BUTTON SEE ME STRIDE’

button seems to really want to be the centre of attention recently. the other day he was saying he had mixed feelings about michael joining in the fun again and now he has to be moving around and looking like he’s doing somthing important while wishing his thoughts to massa…

Lolz these guys really are boring. Especially Raikonnen, his own team mate and he could only spare a couple of words, probably rushing off for another ice cream!

yes, kibica and rosberg were speaking italian (kubica almost at a mothertongue level!).

but i don’t think that’s the best way to get to ferrari (schumi can barely say ‘ciao’ lol).

alonso was speaking italian as well (he messed up a bit when he said “recuperazione” instead of “recupero” :p)

    oh and fisichella too!! :D

Massa has given an interview which is on some F1 websites. As much as i like him for what he has done at Ferrari ( coming in as No#2 to Schumacher, and then elevating himself to No#1 status through hard work ) and it’s awful seeing someone injured doing something they love. He won’t be back.

Some of the things he was saying will niggle him if he gets back in the car, and the toll the injuries will surely take on him will end his F1 career i suspect.

I heard that was decided that Massa won’t race in this season anymore. So, there’s no “Let’s see if I let him drive the car(..)”…

Massa is a great driver, but, on the other hand, with Schuey comming back, F1’s going to become popular once again, that is waaaaay beter than simply haveing Massa back to the next race.

Button’s a bad driver and Barichelo’s worst, nevertheless they are on the top! That ridiculus…

Even haveing Massa as my favorite driver, I think he’d beter let Schuey fix F1 this season.

if he’d wore a helmet from a few years ago he wouldve died, thank god for carbon fibre, anyway autosport have came up with 2 solutions to this, a speed boat bubble on the cockpit or a windshield, preferibly the latter for driver extraction!!!

I have a question for #15 Fernando said. DID YOU READ THE TITLE AT THE TOP OF THE BLOG ? It says ” SUPPORT FOR MASSA ” not ” LETS HAVE A SCHUMACHER MASTURBATION SOCIETY, AND THEN WRITE SOME INCOHERENT DRIBBLE THAT A WELL TRAINED GIBBON WOULD BE PROUD OF ”

Next time ask the bill payers permission before using the internet. And then stick to Cbeebies.

Right, 4 minutes, 21 seconds of wishing you well. And about 3 mins 10 seconds of that was errr… I think that they should have done the cbeebies approach and got all of the drivers, to sit in a huddle and shout “get well soon Felipe!” or get them to send in cards. Why didn’t Felipe’s voice-over guy come on there and say “get well soon, and Felipe baby, stay cool.”
