F1 Poll: world champs

Talk of who’s going to take the World Drivers’ Championship is hotting up. Brawn’s Jenson Button is still leading the pack on 72 points, and even after his non-finish at the Belgian GP the other weekend, he’s still clear by 16 points.

But 16 points isn’t a lot, especially not when Jenson’s being chased by a very on-form teammate in Rubens Barrichello. Fresh from a win and then a tidy seventh place in Spa, Rubens is currently looking very strong, and more importantly, very confident.

Red Bull Racing’s Sebastian Vettel is snapping at Barrichello’s heels, however, a mere three notches behind, on 53 points.

And only one and a half points behind him is his Red Bull teammate Mark Webber. With neither Red Bull driver having the better of the other right now, it’s a tough call to say which is the bigger challenger.

It’s all to play for at this weekend’s Italian GP, and any one of the four drivers here will be going all out in pursuit of the drivers’ title. So…
