A quick post for all you Top Gear F1 fans: we’re going to be spending some time at the BBC with the new commentary team tomorrow, and chatting about the new season.
So if there’s anything you’d like us to ask DC, Brundle, Jake Humphrey, Lee McKenzie or Ted Kravitz, just add them all in the handy space below and we’ll do our best to get them answered. The more sensible ones, anyway…
7pm EDIT: Wow. Thanks for all the (many) suggestions, and thanks to @JakeHumphreyF1 for bringing all this to everyone’s attention on Twitter as well. We’ll pick out the best and put up the interview in a few days so look out for that…

What do you think?

How much of a speed advantage will the adjustable rear wing confer given the limited opportunities to use it on track and the additional weight the system brings? Also, how many teams have elected to adopt this system?

would you ban outside activities for f1 drivers in the light of recent events, especially when mark webber lost the title possibly because of a shoulder injury whilst biking.

Hey Brundle and Coulthard – stop B@*”^ing about Michael Schumacher – you guys should know better that he built Ferrari and the car worked! – He can do the same for Mercedes – he just needs time – he is still the best on the field – Alonso knows it and he fear Schumacher! Remember Michaels surge in 2006 – Alonso must have changed his pants on a few occasions seeing his advantage erode – Michael was AWESOME in the second part of the season – it is a shame that the first part Ferrari still needed to recover from 2005. Needless to say Michael was unlucky not winning his 8th title that year & Alonso knows it

This is for DC
your a nice guy and it is a shame you did not win the f1 title – if anyone deserved it – you did
How fast is the 2011 f1 car in performance sts to say the 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006 cars
can someone do a league table showing performance stats – how do you and Martin feel about the idea of a 4 cylinder engine with a turbo produing 750+ BHP – i miss the sound of the V10′s. I was not imprerssed initially with the sound of the V8 F1 cars – it lost some of the cudous assoicated with F1

Imster, agree, miss the v10s (loved the 2005 Bar Honda, what a sound!!) and even the v12s (remember the 1995 Ferrari 412 T2?, man!). Kers and small turbo cars don’t turn me on at all but i guess the Fia is over the moon with it, shame!
Also miss the brave looking cars of the passed, this massive front wing and this small high back wing makes the cars look really silly, also the back tyres are way to small. Damn, is the Fia being run by grey old man with a beard driving this small high old people’s cars??

Never count out schummi boys he seems on the pace in testing realative to everyone else and im sure 91 gp wins means he knows how to win a race and 7 championships means he knows how to string a championship together hell they changed the regs to stop him winning and he has a point to prove again so he will be hungry anyway look forward to you 2 in the commentary this year amd HD Bring It On

I have seen some pictures of the new cars during testing. I have noticed that on a few of the cars (Lotus Renault R31 and the Sauber C30) that there are tall, spike like appendages on the tip of the air-box where the cars are lifted from the track in the vent of a crash. What are they?

hi ,guys . even though im fat, im rather partial to sport.but only those that are centered around sitting down. consequently, i love f1.. id like to ask; does the new moveable rear wing mean that drivers are going to be operating this manually, and distracting the pilot from his job, much the same as we saw on a couple of occasions last season with the f duct?
