Ahh … first ?

Anyway, great race, despite the heavy rain,

great driving by Perez, but it simply wouldn’t be Formula 1 without the politics so a big F U to ferrari for a stolen victory. Massive amounts of bad luck for lewis for schuey…

any thoughts on the Vettel “STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP !!!! ” incident ?

What do you mean stolen victory? It was a very well-raced GP by Ferrari. I’m much more concerned about the Vettel incident. What was that all about?

I think 1984 means that Perez Sauber is run by Ferrari engine, also Perez was rumored to replace Massa this same week we speak, and that was before his amazing performance.

I do think he could have won it, then the team told him to keep it safe and he might have run wide intentionally, Perez was driving faster than Alonso with 10 laps to go, he took almost 1 sec with each lap, the gap was 2,5 or so. HE came very close, and then the message came and he ran wide and Alonso was able to win without pressure.

Never the less, this Perez dude showed great talent under those conditions.

Looks like Mercs dont have it in them again this season, i just dont buy into the tires excuse what Brawn has said, Schumacher is considered one of the best drivers in rain conditions, and i remember that from his Beneton days, when he walked on water and almost lapped everyone, and that was when Williams was mighty. Merc cars were passed straight lines with ease.

Pretty solid stuff from the younger Senna too today. And unlucky Maldonado.

Who wants to bet that Perez will replace Massa by 2013.

Excellent race by Perez, excellent composure by Alonzo who seems to be able to drive your granny’s car to the podium. Massa should be shaking in his boots now, and poor, poor and unfortunate Lewis who was ballsed by his pit crew.

Excellent race by Perez I was so hoping for him to take 1st though and hamilton having small problems but he got 3rd so im happy for him. Very entertaining race.

The worst of all, is that you really belive what you´re saying. Superb Alonso, and great Pérez. Both deserved to win!

Then the crash in Australia was made also intentionally?

Last time someone in an inferior car pushed Ferrari for the win, the driver (Fisichella, Spa ’09) ended up driving for them. However, I don’t think this time Perez fancies playing no. 2 to Alonso.

Funny that in the drivers standings, Perez is ahead of Vettel!

Great tactical performance from Alonso and Ferrari. But they still have a lot of work to do. The Mclarens and Red Bulls wouldve blown Alonso away in normal race conditions and lets not forget even the sauber outpaced him on a drying track. Mercedes need a rethink. Qualifying pace means nothing if you cant carry it into a race. And any ideas on Vettel incident ?

Alonso. I may still not like the guy but he is one hell of a driver and no matter what you give him he will overachieve! Perez was stunning as well, no idea he was capable of that. Both Macs performed sub-par, should have been a walkover for them. Vettel was unlucky and Karthekiyan should have his super liscence taken away. I’ve watched the incident about 8 times now and it just looks as if he drives into Vettel as if he weren’t there. Plus Vettel was catching Hamilton at that point at around 0.5 seconds a lap and would have come third and gone top of the Driver’s Championship!

To those who are wondering. I can bet Red Bull told Vettel to stop as if he retires he can change his gearbox for free instead of have to use the same one again in the next race, as he wasn’t going to get anything at that point. ALL TACTICS! All in all a good race.

An unlucky day for Button, despite posting fastest laptimes repeatedly, his contact with KAR and loss of frontal grip kept him at the back. Otherwise it would have been a close call, I think.
Although Hamilton was pretty quick, he looked offbeat somehow; I didn’t see a fastest lap time from him.
There was something wrong with RedBulls and another KAR contact made it worse for Vettel. And what were that “Stop the car” and “Stay out” radio commands were about, was it about to go fireworks?
Men of the race were Perez and Sauber Team. I woud have been delighted to see him at the first place.

Think the hosts’ sums up the sudden on/off emergency pit stop call by Team Vettel as if it was really valid enough since the stewards would have to check and approve of if anyway after the race, but then to most of us it sort of sounds like they were trying to get away so as to preserve their car for the next round.. hhhmmm… Great unpredictable race. Kudos to Team Perez’ perfect timing with the choice and type of tyres to use sure gave him a good place in the podium.

Fernado alonso and Ferrari did a rain dance.
to give themselve a chance, awesome drive by
Fernado Alonso.

Well done Perez, got rid off the myth that Mexico
can’t produce racing drivers.
also the iceman, another excellent drive.
welldone Senna.

Mercedes need to get the car, working in race conditions
as Schuy will get them points if they do.
Alonso is a legend, but he is a devil when in the cockpit
of a F1 car.

Alonso rules! As far as i’m concerned, he’s the best, most complete driver in Formula1. That Ferrari DID NOT deserve to win. HE DID IT! the driver won the race…….for once, and what a nice change it was. He is worth every single one of the millions of euros he gets paid in salary.

Hats off to Sergio Perez for that ‘rocket ride’. If he can keep up this kind of performance, the combination of Perez and Kobabyashi will make Sauber one hell of a team.

Sauber forcing Perez to make a mistake because they use Ferrari’s motors? Unlikely… can you imagine Jenson or Lewis (powered by Mercedes) eating puzzolanna to help Shumi o Rosberg?

Perez deserved to win that race, he was so unlucky having that little off. Second still a brilliant result though.

Here we go the conspiracy theories starting now. Why Perez did not attack Alonso cos they get the engine from Ferrari. Torro Rosso gets the engines from Ferrari to but they never do them any favours in fact they impede them. Last week Maldonado was going for it and try to pass Alonso and you rember what happened to him run of and ended with no points. Its not easy passing Alonso mate. He is a proper driver any1 in the paddock will tell you that. I remember a few years back when Alonso kept Schumi’s Ferrari behind for almost 20 laps and he won the race when he was at Renault. Don’t be sour looser cos you sound like LEWIS HAMILTON. “I get penalties cos i am black”

sorry that Lewis or button did not make the headlines!!! Alonso is the real genius. Like it or not. D

Ferrari box to Sauber box
– So you want our engines next season right?
Sauber box to Perez
– Be careful, we need the points

What it actually meant
Ferrari bullied Sauber, Sauber told Perez to “take a dive”, Alonso wins once again with some “help”… like when they told Massa that Alonso’s car was faster than his *wink*

Oh well, just another day in F1.

u actually believe that ferrari bullied sauber into telling perez to go off, lol.that would not happen with red bull/renault or mclaren/mercedes.vettel called karthikeyan an idiot post race.boo hoo, poor vettel cant have his podium so he cries about karthikeyan, frickin boohoo kid.even when he had caught up,you couldnt have paid hamilton a million quid to let him through so the boohoo kid could have his podium.just coz he spent all of last year 30 seconds clear of the field doesnt mean when hes in pack everyone should let him go.

ps where is f1 fans vettelboy comments,i am missing them
