Pause Button
Jenson Button will look at today and think that it could have been a lot worse. Taken out by Renault rookie Romain Grosjean on the first lap, Jenson could then only watch on from the pit wall, with his fingers crossed.

We expected the Brawns not to be the quickest in Spa this weekend, but we certainly didn’t expect Button to not even make it into Q3 for qualifying at the Belgian GP.
It looks like it’s going to be a struggle this weekend for the Brawns – if you really can take anything from practice times – with both Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello only managing 17th and 18th respectively today.
That’s it then, the result we all expected. The FIA have decided that McLaren’s appeal is inadmissible to be heard, on the grounds that you can’t argue against a drive-through, which Lewis’ 25 second penalty basically was. Game on for the championship!
Go on over to Formula1.com and watch their video of the weekend’s grand prix. it only takes about three minutes to view, and they have done another excellent job. (They’ve also used that brilliant Pendulum track too.)
Whoever you’re a fan of, watch this onboard footage from the weekend. It’s awesome…
Interesting that Hamilton has been penalised for his move at the Belgian GP. I’m one of the dissenters Adam mentioned in his blog, by the way. I think it’s harsh and maybe not quite fair, but I’m not surprised. He did a naughty thing and I blame Senna and Schumacher as much as Hamilton.
So here’s a cool little piece of video analysis that one of our users has made, but be quick before FOM take it down. (Be aware that this is nothing to do with Top Gear.)
