Euro GP: Massa on pole

Until the very end, pole position looked like it was going to go to an unlikely driver, namely STR’s Sebatian Vettel. The German had been flying since arriving at the new street circuit of Valencia, and was right up on the pace from the off. But sadly for him, it wasn’t meant to be.

Euro GP: preview

Spain’s third largest city has converted an area around the harbour into a modern street circuit with the help of the famous track designer Hermann Tilke. The circuit is 3.380 miles long, has 25 turns (14 right, 11 left) and a 200mph straight.
