Sebastian Vettel led from start to finish in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to be crowned the 2010 Formula One world champion.

Today, I was given a job in a real, live, F1 pitstop. The days of graft paid off and the lads at Lotus gave me a set of overalls, a space-age helmet, and a fire extinguisher.

Alonso: has expensive thumbs

Fernando Alonso has revealed that his thumbs are insured for £9m. The Ferrari driver today signed a new sponsorship deal with Spanish banking and insurance giant Santander, which sees his shortest, fattest digits covered for £4.5m apiece.

There must have been some strong words said last year at Ferrari’s headquarters in Maranello by those in charge of F1 things. Pretty much, they sucked.
