Webber relieved after ‘nasty’ crash

Red Bull’s Mark Webber was lucky to walk away uninjured from the European GP at Valencia in Spain after his race came to a violent end early on.

Virgin vs Lotus

Virgin Racing have revealed their 2010 drive line-up: ex-Toyota driver Timo Glock and GP2 racer Brazilian Lucas di Grassi. But a more interesting duel is revealing itself, between Virgin Racing boss Richard Branson and the Lotus F1 team.

Jarno and Heikki for Lotus

Lotus F1 Racing have announced their driver line-up for next year, and although not particularly brave choices, they’ve got themselves a lot of experience in Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen.

Pause Button

Jenson Button will look at today and think that it could have been a lot worse. Taken out by Renault rookie Romain Grosjean on the first lap, Jenson could then only watch on from the pit wall, with his fingers crossed.

We expected the Brawns not to be the quickest in Spa this weekend, but we certainly didn’t expect Button to not even make it into Q3 for qualifying at the Belgian GP.

It looks like it’s going to be a struggle this weekend for the Brawns – if you really can take anything from practice times – with both Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello only managing 17th and 18th respectively today.
