Japanese GP: Bourdais incident

I’m still not convinced that Sebastien Bourdais should have been given a 25-second penalty for being driven into by another car. Surely as he was racing for position the onus wasn’t on him to let Massa through. Has this ever happened before? (Be quick, FOM are taking these clips down very fast this morning!):

What a difference a year makes. This was the race in 2007 when the McLaren team began to tear itself apart as Hamilton and Alonso worked to their own agendas during qualifying. 12 months later, Hamilton and Kovalainen are best mates after giving McLaren the front row for the first time since Monza last year.
