More Brawn for Merc?

Mercedes-Benz is set to buy a chunk of championship leaders Brawn GP, according to F1’s rumour mill. The German manufacturer already has a long-standing stake in McLaren, and supplies engines to Force India, but it’s apparently keen to tie up something more substantial with the Brackley-based team.

No breakaway series

New breed

Some huge revisions to the future of Formula 1 were agreed today in Monaco at a World Motor Sport Council meeting, that have the full backing from all of the F1 teams and the sport’s governing body, the FIA.
